after launching White Studio it became apparent that dealing with customers on a daily basis was going to cramp my style.
over a weekend i built Spacebot, a multi-tenant utility for Spacecloud hosts that automated much of the customer interactions for private space rentals.
how it worked
- customer booked my studio on Spacecloud.kr
- SpaceBot polled the Spacecloud private API endpoints for new rentals, using our authenticated session cookie (it ~never expired)
- SpaceBot sent SMS messages via SolAPI, the Korean version of Twilio, to share information about their upcoming booking and more
